Tokyo International Players are pleased to announce auditions for our season finale, SEUSSICAL™ with book by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, co-conceived by Eric Idle, and directed by Karen Pauley.
We invite you to enter the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss, a vibrant and imaginative journey that brings together some of his most beloved characters and stories in surprising and delightful ways. This isn't just a retelling of one story or a collection of tales—it’s an entirely new adventure that intertwines elements from over 15 of Dr. Seuss's classic books.
The show has a large singing and dancing ensemble with character roles for actors age 10 and up and actors in principal roles age 18 and up.

Tokyo International Players is an all-volunteer organization. Proceeds from ticket sales go toward funding future productions, purchasing necessary supplies, and other operational costs such as rent for storage space in which we keep set pieces and costumes.
