You’re sure to love our 2026-2027 season lineup:
SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED!

Join us as we celebrate the magic of theatre with our 2026-2027 season, under the banner of SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED! Our season honors the classic stories we all cherish while embracing fresh voices and exciting new perspectives. From a beloved Shakespeare comedy to original works by Tokyo-based artists, these shows reflect the vibrant tradition of a true theatrical community: preserving the past while creating something uniquely our own.

The season begins in October 2026 with something borrowed: the English-language premiere of JONQUIL: THE LEGEND OF LOVE AND THE TURNING SEASONS with book and lyrics by Saori Gonoi; music by Ko Kamakura, Takachika Ehara, Mion Nazakura, and Saori Gonoi; translated and directed by Jazlaan Karshis.

We continue in February 2027 with something new: the world premiere of SO BIG, SO SMALL, a new play by Tokyo-based playwright India Hudson, directed by Laura Pollacco.

Our season finale in May 2027 is something old: Shakespeare’s raucous comedy THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR, directed by TIP veteran Chris Parham.

Whether you're a longtime patron or discovering TIP for the first time, we invite you to laugh, dream, and be moved as we share stories that connect generations and remind us that every performance is built on the passion, creativity, and collaboration of the people that bring it to life! We look forward to seeing you at the theater!
