We're delighted to announce our first workshop of the 2025-2026 season, LABAN: MOVEMENT FOR ACTORS, with certified educator Monique Bourgeois.
Laban is a system of tools and vocabulary actors use to develop and embody the physical aspects of character. Many professional actors utilize Laban to convey meaningful theater through expressive movements.
Our instructor has 30 years of experience teaching theater arts including acting, improvisation, and voice along with movement. Monique offers an intuitive, empathetic, and dynamic approach to teaching that facilitates confidence and lets natural talent emerge.
