The average person will speak 123,205,750 words in a lifetime. But what would happen if there were a limit? Olive and Bernadette are about to find out. LEMONS LEMONS LEMONS LEMONS LEMONS imagines a world in which we're forced to say less. It's about what we say and how we say it; about the things we can only hear in the silence; about dead cats, activism, eye contact, and lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons.

Thank you for joining us for one of infinite possible variations of LEMONS, LEMONS, LEMONS, LEMONS, LEMONS! All have much to offer, but this one is particularly important to me, as it was shaped by hours of discussion and experimentation with my favorite people in the theater world.
Scripts written with the original cast in mind present an interesting challenge to those of us coming to them after the fact, because...

ASHLEY ELLERMAN
Olive
Ashley is thrilled to perform with TIP once again! Recent theater credits include Vice Principal Douglas Panch in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Creative Arts Tokyo), Ensemble/Costume Team for SEUSSICAL™ (TIP), as well as Costume Designer for TIP's production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and TIP Youth productions of MADAGASCAR JR. and CURTAINS. As a professional freelance circus artist, Ashley performs worldwide as The Ash Act, showcasing stilt walking, aerial silks, and character acting. She performs locally as The Flower (お花さん) in the FUWA FUWA CIRCUS (ふわふわサーカス). Recent credits include the Kentucky Derby, St. Louis Mayor's Ball, and Tokyo Circus Ball, performing with companies like Artisan Oddities, QCG, and The Amazing Giants. Ashley was an aerial coach for THE ROSE TATTOO at the Tennessee Williams Festival. Ashley is a board member for TIP and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in arts administration at Shenandoah Conservatory.

Georgia is ecstatic to be back on stage, and performing in LEMONS, LEMONS, LEMONS, LEMONS, LEMONS. She has been a member of TIP since 2019 and has been seen on the TIP stage in a multitude of roles, the most recent of which being an ensemble member playing many roles in TIPs production of KEN LUDWIG'S BASKERVILLE (2025). Before coming to Japan, Georgia obtained her degree in Musical Theatre from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts in New Zealand. She is honored to be able to bring to life such a wonderful piece of theatre and to make director Kates ideas into reality.
