Auditions for SO BIG, SO SMALL
Tokyo International Players is thrilled to present the world premiere of SO BIG, SO SMALL by Tokyo-based playwright India Hudson, directed by Laura Pollacco

Luke is different from the other children. He’s not interested in eating sweets like Kelly, daydreaming like Reggie, drawing like Noah, or even playing like Milo. He doesn’t fit–as his older sister Emma keeps reminding him. Luke’s life becomes even more complicated when he discovers a tape recorded voice asking the seemingly simple question: “What is my happiest memory?” But how does a young child answer such a question? While his friends deal with their own childlike problems, Luke searches for an answer. But he might not be ready to face the truth….
This innovative, thought-provoking, and highly entertaining theatrical adventure will make you question the “struggles” of mundane adult life, and perhaps even wonder if it’s possible to grow… down?
